CHINESE FACTORIES TORCH BY ANGRY MYANMAR PROTESTESTORS AND INNOCENT WORKERS SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES
Over 1.2 million dollars have been spent towards opening garment factories in Myanmar but as a result of the recent explosion as Myanmar’s military seized power in a coup, hundreds of protestors have begun to shout out in violence, with the use of gunshots and explosives 200 people have already been killed and thousands detained for their actions.
Xiang Jun the person responsible for creating the factories in Myanmar has stated that he is desperate to leave as a result of the protestors, the violence, and the frequent gunshots heard throughout the day every day.
Many Chinese-owned businesses have been caught up in the mess and are too at risk of losing their workers and their business entirely. The protestors aim to destroy Chinese-owned businesses to lessen the economy of Beijing as it has been perceived that they are in support of the military.
Protestors have torched Chinese businesses and factories to flames and have even gone as far as to destroy cars and possessions of Chinese business runners such as Xiang Jun.
Chinese nationals have now been forced to hide away in industrial zones and factories just outside of the religion to ensure their safety. Xiang Jun and several of his Chinese friends have taken refuge in one of his old factories in Yangon’s Hlaing Tharyar district where they are bought food and essential belongings daily by the local staff in the building.
With the protestors getting worse and more and more violent Xiang Jun and his friends are hoping they will be able to return to their homes in China as quickly as possible as they have now become a target due to the bad relationship Bejing has with the coup.
Security forces have now been put into place however the situation has truly escalated to one of extreme violence and anger, causing innocent deaths and fatal injures.
