what animals help the environment

Planet Earth and the world we live in can only function in the perfect alignment that it does when every element in that cycle contributes its unique and important function that ultimately makes the world go around. Each of these elements has certain responsibilities and the animal kingdom is a big part of our cycle. We’ll be discussing how animals help the environment and why they are of such importance. The animal kingdom is made out of many different parts with thousands of different species that all need each other to create a functioning and stable ecosystem.

HOW DO ANIMALS AFFECT THE ENVIRONMENT?

Actually, animals save the planet by creating a foundation for life to exist. They are an important part of what keeps our environment clean and ensures that nature runs smoothly. Animals live according to nature, that is their guideline to know when and how to play their part in the ecosystem properly and in alignment with mother nature. Animals feed the roots and soil which is what allows all our trees and plants to grow which are then responsible for the air we breathe which allows us to live and so the cycle continues. This cycle is perfectly balanced and runs like clockwork with little to no disturbances or surprises except for human destruction that is.

WHAT ANIMALS HELP THE ENVIRONMENT?

Animals that help the environment include

BEES

Bees are an extremely essential and important part of keeping the environment functioning, they pollinate thousands upon thousands of plant species which makes up for about 30 percent of the entire world’s crops which in turn makes bees responsible for the food we eat, they are extremely powerful and although a very small insect and often overlooked contribute hugely towards the sustainability of the environment and its ability to function.

BEAVERS

Beavers have the responsibility of keeping the environment regulated and help to control and even combat climate change as they decrease the chances of damage from floods and wildfires by their gnawing and damming process. They also help to control freshwater and the fish population and are a huge part of the entire river ecosystem.

BIRDS

The role of the birds in nature is ultimately to create balance, they are a part of almost every element of what makes up the environment from helping with seed pollination to fertilizing the soil to re-rooting trees and plants they are truly a vital part of the environment and its ability to keep an ongoing and harmonious cycle that is never-ending.

RATS

Yes, you’ve seen it correctly rats although not the most loved species contribute massively towards helping the environment. Rats are a very important part of scientific research and the human ability to understand the planet in a way only they can see. Rats are important in detecting extremely harsh pollutants on earth and can even detect landmines that cause serious threats in a way that humans simply cannot, they also have the ability to sniff out the dead which is extremely helpful especially in war zone regions.

WHY ARE ANIMALS IMPORTANT TO AN ECOSYSTEM?

So how do animals help the ecosystem? Animals help the ecosystem by playing specific roles in their elected categories, each type of animal from the smallest of insects to the biggest predators each makes up for an important part of the ecosystem and its ability to function. They are responsible for helping to maintain the cycle of energy that makes the earth a livable environment and in turn are responsible for our ability to live, from breathing to living to eating we all have the animals to thank. Thus you can see why are animals important to the environment and are the creators of the perfectly balanced cycle that makes up our planet.

HOW DO ANIMALS CHANGE THE ENVIRONMENT?

how do animals change the environment

So exactly how do animals affect the ecosystem? Well There are many ways that animals contribute to environmental change, they build homes within the environment which creates structures such as caves, by eating they have the ability to spread speeds and create a diversity of flora and fauna species. Animals forage and create holes in the ground which makes homes for many smaller species. Big herds of herbivores eat large lands of grass and create bare soil that gets swept by the wind to form new land for roaming species. The waste that animals leave through feeding processing is what fertilizes the soil and allows for plant growth ability.

As you can see there is an ongoing cycle that can only work if each section is doing its job, almost like a domino effect each action creates the perfect and intended reaction into what forms our planet and makes it a sustained place for life to exist and we as humans have animals to thank for that.
