HOW GLOBAL WARMING ENTERS OUR EVERYDAY LIFE
Global warming has become a part of our everyday life and the effects it brings upon many different aspects of our lives can be seen through entire ecosystems from animals to marine life and even the quality of our lives. The social impact of climate change is becoming more and more real and its effects are becoming greater and unfortunately, this is mainly due to man-made destruction through industrial developments and the magnitude of the population along with all its developments and general CO2 emissions.
HOW DOES GLOBAL WARMING AFFECT ANIMALS?
The effects of climate change on animals is one of the most devastating consequences that we can visually see. Animal affected by global warming means that often their entire habitat is decreasing or in someplace disappearing completely. For example as the temperature of the planet increases the ice caps and surfaces in cold parts of the world have begun to melt, although to us that may just seem like nothing in fact that is a home for many animals, it is also an important part of the way that animals catch food in the harsh environments. Since the increase of ice melt, polar bears have become endangered and are facing a risk of extinction. The entire ecosystem and food chain in the animal kingdom depends on each animal to provide sufficient food sources crucial for survival and if one of these animals is lost it affects the entire system and eventually us. This is seen in forests too where climate change affecting ecosystems that are the most important in the world means we are losing and what actually keeps the world alive and aligned with natural disasters and the endless cycle which is created by nature and imperative to our survival as humans.
CLIMATE CHANGE EFFECTS ON PLANTS
Extreme weather changes created changes to the conditions of the soil which harms the way that plants can grow. Plants play the most important role in the water cycle, the higher the temperature rises the more water the plants need to absorb which in turn will dry up our land and alter the water cycle completely which will affect the air we breathe and even the water we drink.
HOW DOES TEMPERATURE AFFECT LIVING ORGANISMS?
How does temperature affect life on earth? Life on earth starts with the smallest of living organisms and as it affects that it will, in turn, affect everything including us. tiny living organisms are extremely sensitive to temperature and need a specific temperature in order to reproduce correctly if it’s too cold the cells will freeze and die if it’s too hot then they cannot get sufficient food and water and will die too.
HOW DOES CHANGING WEATHER AFFECT US?
There are many reasons why the increase in temperature affects us.
- Increase in natural disasters
- Destruction of resources
- The ocean and marine life will die due to too much CO2 absorption
- Sea level will rise due to ice melting, meaning parts that are land now will eventually become a sea
- Spreading of diseases through animals and they migrate in massive collections due to the crashing of their ecosystems.
HOW DOES TEMPERATURE CHANGE?
So how does the temperature of the earth actually increase? Since its existence, the temperature of the earth has slowly increased naturally however due to our contribution to global warming we have increased and added to this growth and change. The greenhouse gas effect keeps our planet at a livable temperature however we are releasing additional emissions through our activities which has maximized the greenhouse effect causing an increase In temperature. The burning of fossil fuels through heating, transport, and electricity is what creates these greenhouse gases. As our population increases, we need more resources which we take from nature adding to the effects of global warming and in turn its effect on our lives every day.
